Mission
A Bridge 4 Change (AB4C) empowers young women through safe housing, mentorship, leadership development, and life skills training. The organization is committed to providing a supportive environment where residents can heal, grow, and build the skills necessary for long-term independence and personal success.
Vision
AB4C envisions a future where young women are confident, self-sufficient, and equipped to thrive as leaders within their communities. Through structured support, positive relationships, and practical opportunities for growth, AB4C seeks to help each resident transition into adulthood with dignity, stability, and purpose.
Program Purpose
The purpose of the AB4C Transitional Housing Program is to provide safe, stable, and structured housing for young women ages 18–24 who are transitioning to independent living. The program is designed to bridge the gap between dependence and self-sufficiency by offering housing support, case management, life skills development, mentorship, and connections to community resources.
Program Type
The AB4C program operates as a Transitional Housing Program designed to serve young women in a structured residential setting. The program is not a licensed child welfare placement and is intended specifically for legal adults ages 18–24 who are voluntarily participating in services that support independent living.
Target Population
The program serves women ages 18–24 who are in need of safe housing and structured support while transitioning to independence. Residents may include young women who are experiencing housing instability, aging out of systems of care, overcoming personal barriers, or seeking a stable environment to pursue educational, employment, and life goals.
